Vista Hall & Deck
Capacity: 450 Seated Guests
Perfect for couples who want to invite everyone they know to celebrate their love, this hotel wedding reception place is the largest venue available at Big Sky. The Vista Hall indoor/outdoor wedding reception venue combines modern architecture with rustic elements like exposed beams and stone fireplaces. Plus this wedding reception location features an expanded outdoor deck with breathtaking views of Lone Mountain and the Spanish Peaks.
Huntley Dining Room
Capacity: 300 Seated Guests or 250 Buffet Meal
The Huntley Dining Room is one of our most popular resort wedding reception venues that embraces the rustic western charm of Montana. This space also offers couples the options of either a seated or buffet meal. We understand that some couples may want to exchange their vows at a separate ceremony location such as a church. Boyne’s resort in Montana allows couples to book their ceremony and wedding reception venues separately.

All of our hotel wedding reception locations provide couples with the following items and services before and during their special day:

The following items are not included in our wedding reception packages and couples will be responsible for handling:
- Hiring your wedding planner
- Booking the DJ or band
- Selecting, placing the order, and coordinating delivery of flowers
- Selecting, ordering and coordinating cake/dessert delivery (outside vendors permitted, in-house options available)

Generally, we recommend couples try to book our wedding reception places at least 1 year in advance. However, we can occasionally accommodate last minute bookings for receptions outside of weekends.

Boyne’s hotel wedding reception locations are available to provide meals from 6am till 9pm. Exceptions can be made for a fee, but please work with your catering manager on details for these special events. In the Summit Hotel, music must be shut off by 11pm inside and 10pm outside on the terrace. In the Huntley Hotel, music must shut off at 12 midnight. Please ensure that the entertainment you hire and all your guests are aware of the event end time.

All food and beverage, with the exception of a wedding cake or specialty dessert, must be ordered through Big Sky Resort. All food and beverage items are property of Big Sky Resort and may not be removed from any wedding reception places. There is a significant health risk involved with taking food to-go and Big Sky Resort will not be held liable for this activity.
The Montana State Liquor Commission regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. As a licensee, Big Sky Resort is responsible for the administration of these regulations. It is therefore a policy that liquor, wine or beer served to a group cannot come from an outside source. Please be aware that Big Sky Resort practices responsible hospitality, and anyone who appears under the age of 35 may be asked to supply identification, and anyone appearing intoxicated will not be served.
