Millicent Chalet

The Millicent Chalet faces the mountain with lovely views of the slopes and Mt. Millicent. This place to get married in Utah offers a unique indoor-outdoor wedding reception option with rolling doors that allow access to a spacious slopeside patio. With over 1,800 sq. ft. of wedding space, The Millicent Chalet can host wedding parties of up to 200 attendees.

Alpine Rose

Located at the base of the mountain, Alpine Rose features historic ski decore for couples looking for the feel of a classic ski resort. The massive sun deck is perfect for your guests wanting a break from the celebration with a cool mountain breeze. This rustic wedding location can accommodate up to 250 guests.

We prefer to offer couples a laid-back approach to wedding planning where your personal coordinator will guide you through the entire planning process from start to finish. Wedding Ceremonies

The Millicent Chalet is the ultimate open-air venue! With abundant natural light and roll up doors allowing seamless access to the patio, it makes the perfect indoor/outdoor venue.

Located at the base of Mt Millicent in the Wasatch Mountains, your guests will enjoy easy access to the venue as well as the exhilarating views.

For a formal dinner, we can seat up to 90 guests, but for a more casual setting, we can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Wedding Venue

  • We recommend booking your place to get married as far out as possible to secure the preferred availability and ensure you receive the best rate. Weekends tend to be the most popular and dates fill up fast. Last-minute wedding venue requests are accepted and are subject to availability.

  • Brighton is primarily a summer wedding place with our resort available to couples from June through October. 

  • Overnight camping is not permitted at our Utah wedding places.

  • To get to our places to get married in Utah, please plan on at least an hour from the airport, up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Brighton Resort. 

  • Yes, contact UTA for scheduled times and park/ride locations.

  • Brighton is primarily a summer wedding place with our resort available to couples from June through October.

  • Typically, a couple will first schedule a tour of our place to get married and other facilities. We will then work with them to figure out which dates work best for them and are available. We will then record information like the couple's names, mailing address, emails, and phone numbers that will be used to create their contract. Couples will then have 10 days to review their contract and ask any questions about our wedding place. Upon returning their signed contract, couples are required to submit a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit that is used toward their total bill.

  • On Saturdays, we require a minimum number of 120 guests.

  • We are unfortunately unable to offer extended times for receptions.

  • Dogs are allowed on leash, in the gondola cabins, and at the amphitheater for the ceremony.

  • Boyne Resorts unfortunately does not offer any lodging or lodging deals at our wedding location in Utah.

  • Our wedding places exclusively cater all events held on our property and all the details will be planned and executed by our onsite culinary team.

  • Ask for specific information about the location you are interested in.

  • Our wedding location can offer suggestions for local Vendors, assistance with Ceremony and Reception coordination, and coordination between couples and Loon Food and Beverage team.

  • Brighton’s wedding venues include tables, chairs, linen, silver & glassware, flatware, audiovisual equipment, room setup, and room cleanup.
