Wedding Ceremonies

Imagine saying "I do" in an intimate mountain setting nestled amongst a forest of pines and hemlocks. Boyne Resorts offers couples a secluded and intimate place to get married in New Hampshire at our amphitheater at the summit of Loon Peak. You and your guests will soar to the ceremony while taking in breathtaking 360-degree views of White Mountain National Forest on our Express Gondola. You'll then be greeted with sweeping views of Franconia Ridge across the Pemigewasset River with Mt. Moosilauke and Mt. Washington in the distance as you start the rest of your lives together.

We are able to host three wedding ceremonies a day at our wedding location in New Hampshire. If you are looking to host your reception at a different location, or looking for an elopement package, we offer ceremony only options for couples from 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm. For our ceremony and reception combination, couples are able to get married at our amphitheater at the top of Loon Peak from 4pm-5pm and host their reception from 5pm-10pm at the base of the mountain.

Wedding Receptions

At the base of the Gondola, you'll find the Octagon Lodge. Our wedding venue in New Hampshire offers a mix of indoor and outdoor reception space that can fit up to 200 people for couples to celebrate their union with. This rustic-inspired wedding reception venue features post and beam construction, a stone fireplace, and large windows overlooking the surrounding mountains and offering plenty of natural light.

Attached to our wedding space at the Octagon Lodge, is the outdoor patio area that features a propane fire pit along with tables to stand and or sit at. This area is where cocktail hour will be hosted as your family and friends wait to be invited inside for dinner. Couples are also welcome to use the patio area for lawn games during their reception. We even allow your furry best friend to join in on the celebration, as long as they remain on a leash in the patio area.

Mouthwatering Catering Options

Our wedding venue will take care of all the food and beverage for your special day, with the exception of wedding cakes and other desserts. Here you'll be able to choose from a wide selection of delicious dishes to create a memorable meal for you and your guests. On the day of your wedding, our culinary wizards and food service staff will provide couples with:

The great part of our wedding venue pricing is that it is a set price, plus tax and gratuity and we do not have any site fees! Almost everything is included in our per person pricing besides things like alcohol, cake and or dessert, decorations, the DJ, and photographers. Both of our wedding packages include:

Gold Package

Our Gold package is a buffet style celebration at Loon Mountain Resort. Couples will have the option to outfit our reception area with their choice of standard length white or ivory line and customize most everything else to their vision.

Platinum Package

Our platinum package is a plated style event at Loon Mountain Resort. Couples will have the choice of accented colored napkins set on a floor-length ivory or white linens.

Couples can then redeem these points at any Boyne Resort property across the US and for fantastic rewards such as zipline tours, gift certificates, full-day ski passes, and lodging. You can even put those points towards a romantic honeymoon getaway.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Wedding Venue

  • Ultimately, it depends on the time of year a couple is looking for. Fall is our busiest time of the year and as such those dates tend to be booked far in advance. For peak dates and the most selection of dates at our Loon wedding location, we typically recommend booking your wedding space three years out. For a more limited selection on dates, two years out is the recommended time frame. We may be able to accommodate couples looking to book our wedding places one year out, if there have been changes in our previously booked dates.

  • We are able to host ceremonies and receptions at our wedding venue in New Hampshire any day from Memorial Day weekend to the weekend after Columbus Day. There are a few exceptions during specific dates of Highland Games Weekend (around mid-September ) and the week prior to setting up for Highland Games, and Oktoberfest Weekend (Columbus Day Weekend).

  • Typically, a couple will first schedule a tour of our place to get married and other facilities. We will then work with them to figure out which dates work best for them and are available. We will then record information like the couple's names, mailing address, emails, and phone numbers that will be used to create their contract. Couples will then have 10 days to review their contract and ask any questions about our wedding place. Upon returning their signed contract, couples are required to submit a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit that is used toward their total bill.

  • For Friday and Sundays, Boyne wedding place in New Hampshire requires a minimum number of 100 guests. On Saturdays, we require a minimum number of 120 guests.

  • Couples can reserve Loon Mountain's wedding reception space for a maximum of five hours. We are unfortunately unable to offer extended times for receptions.

  • Dogs are allowed on leash, in the gondola cabins, and at the amphitheater for the ceremony.

  • Boyne Resorts unfortunately does not offer any lodging or lodging deals at our wedding location in New Hampshire. However, we do partner with The Mountain Club at Loon, which feature standard hotel rooms and suites that include kitchens. There are also a variety of options for additional accommodations surrounding Loon Mountain.

  • Our wedding places exclusively cater all events held on our property and all the details will be planned and executed by our onsite culinary team.

  • At Boyne's place to get married at the Summit we have: 4 Speakers hardwired in the trees, wired microphones, lapel microphone, electrical power and sound system.

  • Our wedding location can offer suggestions for local Vendors, assistance with Ceremony and Reception coordination, and coordination between couples and Loon Food and Beverage team.

  • Our wedding venue in New Hampshire offers wedding day coordination help, servers or buffet station attendees, cake cutting service, Gondola attendees, and disabled and elderly accessible vehicles at the summit.
