Soar to the summit and take your love to new heights. Loon’s wedding ceremony venue is at the top of the picturesque Loon Peak. You and your guests will take a scenic 15-minute Gondola ride with inspiring 360-degree views before enjoying your ceremony.. Our romantic summit amphitheater treats couples to a spectacular backdrop featuring the lush Franconia Ridge across the Pemigewasset River with Mt. Moosilauke and Mt. Washington in the distance as they say “I do”. 

If you are looking to host your reception at a different location or looking for an elopement package, we offer private ceremony-only options for couples from 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm. For our ceremony and reception combination, couples are able to get married from 4pm-5pm and host their reception from 5pm-10pm at the base of the mountain.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Wedding Venue

  • Only 6 months to a year is generally required to book our wedding ceremony venue in New Hampshire. To reserve both our reception and wedding ceremony place at least a year is recommended if you are looking for a specific date. If you are looking for a fall wedding spot, book as soon as possible!

  • We are able to host ceremonies and receptions at our wedding venue in New Hampshire any day from Memorial Day weekend to the weekend after Columbus Day. There are a few exceptions during specific dates of Highland Games Weekend (around mid-September ) and the week prior to setting up for Highland Games, and Oktoberfest Weekend (Columbus Day Weekend).

  • Yes, we can stop the gondola and then drive folks down to the wedding ceremony site. It is a short walk but can be difficult for folks with mobility issues.

  • Typically, a couple will first schedule a tour of our place to get married and other facilities. We will then work with them to figure out which dates work best for them and are available. We will then record information like the couple's names, mailing address, emails, and phone numbers that will be used to create their contract. Couples will then have 10 days to review their contract and ask any questions about our wedding place. Upon returning their signed contract, couples are required to submit a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit that is used toward their total bill.

  • Drones are possible at our wedding venues, but there are restrictions put in place since we are on U.S. Forest Service land. Please talk to a Loon Mountain representative for more information about flying a drone around our wedding ceremony venue.

  • For Friday and Sundays, Boyne wedding place in New Hampshire requires a minimum number of 100 guests. On Saturdays, we require a minimum number of 120 guests.

  • Couples can reserve Loon Mountain's wedding reception space for a maximum of five hours. We are unfortunately unable to offer extended times for receptions.

  • We only close the Gondola for high wind and thunder and lightning. We do offer a backup indoor wedding ceremony location at Loon’s base lodge.

  • Dogs are allowed on leash, in the gondola cabins, and at the amphitheater for the ceremony.

  • Boyne Resorts unfortunately does not offer any lodging or lodging deals at our wedding location in New Hampshire. However, we do partner with The Mountain Club at Loon, which feature standard hotel rooms and suites that include kitchens. There are also a variety of options for additional accommodations surrounding Loon Mountain.

  • Our wedding places exclusively cater all events held on our property and all the details will be planned and executed by our onsite culinary team.

  • At Boyne's place to get married at the Summit we have: 4 Speakers hardwired in the trees, wired microphones, lapel microphone, electrical power and sound system.

  • Our wedding location can offer suggestions for local Vendors, assistance with Ceremony and Reception coordination, and coordination between couples and Loon Food and Beverage team.

  • You will be responsible for providing and coordinating with local wedding vendors for music and flowers/decorations (if any). We have a sound system already at our wedding ceremony location, so if you do not want to hire a DJ you don’t need to. However, one of your guests will need to be responsible. If you are having a reception with us as well then you will be responsible for planning and providing music, flowers/decorations, dessert, and photography for your party.

  • Our wedding venue in New Hampshire offers wedding day coordination help, servers or buffet station attendees, cake cutting service, Gondola attendees, and disabled and elderly accessible vehicles at the summit.
