Ever Wanted to Get Married on Top of A Ski Mountain?

Our winter wedding location in Montana gives couples the opportunity to get married on top of Lone Mountain and then ski down afterwards. This special event can be arranged with group sales and is available between the hours of 9:00am to 2:00pm. If you are married on top of the mountain, all guests must ski down after and have a valid lift ticket.

During the winter we can even include specialty seasonal food and beverage items like a hot chocolate station and hot toddies.

Couples who book one of our winter wedding locations at our Montana resort are eligible for points towards their Boyne Rewards accounts. These points can be redeemed at any Boyne Resort property for amazing rewards such as ski passes, zipline tours, and gift certificates.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend couples plan to reserve our winter mountain wedding spaces at least 9-12 months in advance. However, last minute weddings may be accepted based on availability.
Most couples will first schedule a tour at our winter wedding destination in Montana before deciding on a specific space for their special day. Once you do decide, your sales manager will draft a contract, which will include all your special requests and specific needs, both your reception and ceremony winter wedding venues, as well as lodging accommodations for all your guests. A deposit will be required upon the return of your signed contract. Further payments will be requested prior to your wedding day. Two weeks prior to your wedding date, your attendee count, banquet event order and any upgrade requests are due.
All food and beverage, with the exception of a wedding cake or specialty dessert, must be ordered through Big Sky Resort. All food and beverage items are property of Big Sky Resort and may not be removed from any function.
